Where did she go? NaNoWriMo.

A vibrant extended family of friends is one of my blessings in life.  I dedicate much of my energy to communities of kindred spirits, and so when I say I aim to “drop out” entirely from social circles this November, know that the decision was not made lightly.

NaNoWriMo, National Novel Writing Month, begins today, and I am participating in their challenge to write 50,000 words towards my first book.

I usually retreat to my writing-cave in November to write our annual holiday letter, but this year, if it doesn’t get done . . . know that I am hunting larger game.

I’ll be blogging here about the process, offering insights and challenges as I weave all these threads together.  Please sign up to receive them, or stop by here to offer your encouragement.  I also accept donations in the form of chocolate and fizzy drinks.
