I’ve transitioned into a new phase, and my newest touchstones seem to be patience and resilience. Each step brings surprises; sometimes wisdom ensues.

For the Touchstone of Integration, I have selected a tiny amethyst as my reminder because integration occurs in the subtlest ways: Pay attention to the signs.

I posted a photo of Tiki or Bamboo any time I got the chance to write. Dubbed my Cats of Creation, they chivvied me from bed to writing nook for nearly a decade.

Years in, when the project starts weighing me down, I decide to reconnect with my Desire. I select a red tiger's eye to represent my wish for change.

These women are glamorous, articulate, and opinionated. They're dancers, musicians, visual artists, and aerialists who capture my very imagination.

In 2010, I had this vague Desire to enrich my life. I was anything but Present and distinctly out of Balance. So I asked a Circle about their creative processes for a year.
